Who is it aimed at?

People employed in the drinks and hospitality industries with little previous knowledge of alcoholic beverages. But also wine enthusiasts who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of wines and spirits and want to obtain an internationally recognised wine qualification.

Language

The studying materials as well as the examination can be in simplified Chinese, taditional Chinese or English.

Qualification objectives

Provides vocational training in the broad range of alcoholic beverages to underpin job skills and competencies in the customer service and sales functions  of the hospitality, retail and wholesale industries.

Exam

You must successfully complete a multiple choice paper of 50 questions in one hour. A minimum of 55% correct answers is required to pass the exam.

WSET L1 in Wines

This Qualification was initially created for the front-of-house staff within the on-trade sector.

WSET L2 in Wines and Spirits

People employed in the drinks and hospitality industries with little previous knowledge of alcoholic beverages.

WSET L3 in Wines

You should have passed the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits or show a similar knowledge level.
